Festival volunteering information

Are you a kind, compassionate person, eager to lend a hand or support someone in need?

You may be a seasoned festival-goer, or fancy trying something new to get out of your comfort zone.  But if you’re passionate about mental health and are an empathetic listener, who is keen to get stuck in, then volunteering for blink may be for you.

Part of blink's key offering is to provide wellbeing support at several UK festivals. We host a mindful chillout tent for festival-goers to retreat from the hustle and bustle of the festival. Bell tents lined with bean bags and blankets provide a cosy space to find some solace in, perhaps to nap or partake in relaxing activities like mindful colouring and puzzles. We also offer 1:1 therapy sessions for anyone who may be curious, confused, overwhelmed, or is looking for someone to talk with to deeper explore their feelings.

We now recruiting for our two key roles:

•              Wellbeing Support volunteer: festival-goers are welcomed into blink's space by a group of wonderful, compassionate volunteers who share more about blink's work, help people access our therapy offer, and sit alongside people sharing stories, laughter, tears as well as mindful activities such as colouring and puzzles.

note: due to the number of applications, we have temporarily closed wellbeing support volunteer applications. Applications may open again in the next couple of months, so if you’re interested to find out more, register your interest here

•              Qualified therapist: Are you a qualified therapist, interested in practicing in an innovative setting, offering single-session therapy from the comfort and calm of our bell tents at UK festivals?
